Governing Body |
|

|
The Governing Body of the school consists of elected parents,
educators and the Representative Council of Learners. Each of
these stakeholders has a vital role to play in the governance
of the school and none could operate effectively without the
others. |
|
|
The Governing Body acts as both a representative of its
constituents and as a custodian of the physical and
intellectual assets of the school. It also has clear legal
responsibilities which are set out in the South African
Schools Act. By law, the majority of Governing Body members
must be parents of learners at the school.
Sub-committees have been formed to ensure all issues are
handled appropriately and effectively. |
