Hey, Hey peeps!! It tam here! I cant
believe it is nearly 3 years since I left SA.!! I miss SA
and Edenvale High especially so, so much. I’ve spent
countless hours crying.....wishing I was back at the best
school in the world!!! Man I miss it!!! It is looking good
though. I visited in September last year ..and got the
chance to go to the Matric Dance, which was spectacular!!

Paulo Henriques - USA
Paulo Henriques a past pupil of
Edenvale High School is currently in Grade 10 in the
United States of America . He has been selected as apart
of the Olympic Development Team for soccer for 9o's
team. He also plays American Football and broke the
kicking record by kicking a 46 yard field goal at the
age of 14 in 9th grade at West Junior High School . He
is now starting 10th Grade at West Memphis High School
and has been selected to be the kicker for the Senior
Varsity side. Paulo is only 15 now and is already being
scouted by the local university for potential
scholarship offers. The High school coaches are
expecting Paulo to kick a 60 yard field goal sometime in
his high school career. The NFL professional record is
only 62. I have several newspaper cuttings if you would
like to place them in this year’s school magazine. Paulo
talks continually about EHS and Dr Harmer when he gets
interviewed.
He attributes his success to his schooling in South
